A UFO described as a hovering, revolving, reflecting question mark or seahorse has been videotaped over Belfast in northern Ireland.
While the exact sighting date isn’t mentioned, the UFO is described as an entity in a Sept. 15 YouTube posting by someone who identifies himself as “Bap.”
“I filmed this strange entity slowly moving west, behind the Cavehill [a hill that overlooks the city of Belfast],” Bap reported. “The thing looked like it had legs at one point, then just at the end, you will see it seems to double up the image.”
Watch the video of the UFO “entity.”
According to Bap, he or she has filmed inter-dimensional things before and believes this was some type of living being.
“This entity seems to have two orbs within it…they are being filmed more every day, all around the planet.”
Bap also urges readers to “keep an eye on the sky, and a camera close by.”
Story commenters on the video’s YouTube page had plenty to say about this alleged UFO. “I think it’s a mylar dragon balloon,” wrote kickinbackinOC. “It’s clearly spinning on its own axis, not changing shape. You can see it’s reflecting the sun, off whatever side lines up at the right angle to allow reflection.” Another commenter, Tommyr, simply said: “Congrats! You filmed balloons!” Then there was oliveroma: “Perhaps this is something not unlike what the people from aeons ago would see in the skies and call them the flying serpents.”
Huffington Post sent this video to Marc Dantonio, the chief photo and video analyst for the Mutual UFO Network, to get his take on the supposed “inter-dimensional entity.” His conclusion probably won’t surprise anyone who had a real “question” about this UFO. “I examined this object and realized what it is pretty quickly, having seen one just recently,” Dantonio told HuffPost in an email. “I believe that this was one of those pre-made, pre-shaped mylar ‘letter’ balloons cast adrift in the wind.
“In this case, it was a punctuation mark — a Question Mark. It was turning slowly in the wind as it drifted, and this caused the object to appear to ‘shape-shift’ when, in fact, it was simply rotating as it moved.
“My assessment is that this was a lost question, floating high above the ground, never to be answered…”
Of course, such balloons are widely available from your local party supply store or on Amazon.com, and it might be the perfect birthday gift for an age-sensitive UFO researcher.
