Lunar memorials now possible as company offers to send loved ones ashes to the Moon

A COMPANY is offering a burial service that is out of this world – sending loved ones ashes to the MOON.
ELYSIUM SPACE are teaming up with space robotics company Astrobotic Technology to offer their unique Lunar Memorial service.
The company, based in San Francisco, California, USA, were inspired by U.S. Army solider, Steven Jenks, who wanted to send his mothers remains to the moon after she passed away from lung cancer.
When she would sign off letters to her son, Stevens mother – who the company would not name for privacy reason – would write: ‘No matter how lonely you feel and how far you are, always look at the Moon and know I am with you. I love you to the Moon and back. Love, Mom.’
The everlasting memorial means family and friends could commemorate their departed loved ones at anytime and anywhere.
.
Also on offer are incredible shooting star and Milky Way memorials.
